Amen Matt, I hear you, my husband hears you and my son Nicholas hears you! We to just bought what we thought was our dream home and now I am suffering from what I believe is Mold in the house. No one ever addressed a mold issue even though I did..yet they the Realtors did not want to linger on the subject they hurriedly pushed it away by saying that they was no need for a Mold test because it is not normally done in the area of Georgia we are living in because they don't find it necessary because no one complains of mold problems. And they left it at that. Now I am scurrying to find out how much and what type of mold we might have here. There is apparent discoloration on the ceilings in three rooms of our house due to a leak in the roof but a new roof was put on the house yet the ceiling was not repaired which could mean mold may exist there. I am so angry that life has come to this...all we wanted to do was buy a safe home to raise our family and do our part in society as my husband is doing his part to protect our Country in his Military career. And now we are sitting here waiting and waiting to see if we are going to be able to live in a house that we were lead to and not given the full details on and then told that it was a great buy. Now we are in the mist of having to repair what may be one problem after another...I hope to God that we are not another statistic. God help us all!

How difficult is it to remove black mold on your own? Is it better to call someone in to do it or can I get it done myself?

Are there any specific tools I may need?
