Senate Resolution 171 and House Resolution 434 Unanimously Passed.
Chris Clinton, a national spokesperson for individuals and families living toxic mold nightmares, continues to make strides in his campaign to get Toxic Mold Legislation passed.
Senator Greenleafs Office in the state of PA is taking toxic mold seriously!
The Senate and House of Representatives unanimously approved resolutions (SR 171 and HR 434) urging the Pennsylvania Department of Health to develop a task force to investigate the health effects of toxic mold. HR 434 was adopted on Monday, June 17th and SR 171 was approved the next day.
Senator Greenleaf sent a letter to Health Secretary Robert Zimmerman, Jr. informing him of the Senate’s action with respect to SR 171 and alerting him to the passage of a similar resolution in the House of Representatives. With both chambers unanimous support of similar resolutions, it will help to send a clear message to the department that the General Assembly is very interested and concerned with the issue of toxic mold and its health effects.
